Do you have an attitude problem in your network marketing business? If so, read on.
Many times I have observed network marketers getting down on themselves and the industry as a whole. What usually happens is these frustrated networkers give the entire network marketing industry a bad reputation.
They are usually the people you see displaying ads all over the Internet saying “MLM Scam”, “MLM Lies”, or “MLM Sucks”.
These people are the first to blame others rather than blame themselves for their failure. It is unfortunate, but this is human nature. It’s incredibly hard to admit that we’ve made mistakes.
However, taking full responsibility for our failures is incredibly powerful. It liberates us and keeps us on the upward curve to massive success. You might have heard of the phrase “fail forward”. This is so true.
For example, let’s say you join a network marketing company and start your business. Let’s also say that you have no prior business experience or have never worked for yourself outside of a job.
What do you think your odds of achieving massive success in 60 days will be? For the average person the answer would be Continue Reading

Since its appearance, the internet and worldwide web has attracted a lot of attention. One of the main benefits is that no matter what the size of the business, whether large or small, the same amount of exposure can be gained by both. It can be an inexpensive and cost effective medium to use in today’s high tech business world. Essentially the internet can be considered a huge sales channel aimed at the consumer. An incredible amount of exposure can be gained through the internet, with a business owner reaching millions of potential customers. Compared to other, more conventional forms of advertising, the internet is far less expensive. For the cost of one days classified ads in the local newspaper, the online network marketer can get a website built and up and running for a whole year. This has the benefits of not only reaching the local market, as in the case of the newspaper, but also the region, country or even worldwide market. Because of the personal interaction an online prospect has, the online marketing networker will get far more attention than through other forms of media. Due to the high tech view of the internet, many people feel Continue Reading

When you mention the words network marketing or multi level marketing, you can sometimes feel a shield of steel rise the moment you mention the phrase as it conjures up fear in people that they are about to be subjected to a prolonged half an hour of hard selling tactics, miracle cure vitamins and an offer to seek out a hotel conference room next Thursday at 8.00pm when all will become clear about the amazing opportunity that leads to financial freedom.
The funny thing about being part of the network marketing industry is that it has an image problem. It has a history of being full of pit-bull type salespeople who seem to have no fear of anyone or anything, let alone rejection, which is the number one fear for most people. Do not forget the leaders in this business spend hours simply being rejected just to count down the numbers to their known conversion rate of 2 or 3 yes replies from the 200 or more previous no responses.
Objection handling is an art-form and a necessary part of the sales process, but you have to question the sometimes over zealous tactics of the pit-bulls in the Continue Reading

Most people fail miserably in their network marketing business. Even though “it’s easy” and “anybody can do it” according to the Guru at the front of the room. Here are the top four reasons people fail in their network marketing business: 1. Lack of money A lot of people just don’t have the money to market their business. The days of “Make a list and talk to your friends and family” are gone. Do you really think the big dogs on stage are still doing that? Absolutely not. They are investing every month in some form of marketing, and so should you. Luckily, you don’t need much money. With the emergence of the internet over a billion people become available to you through social sites, forums, groups and chat rooms. If you learn the art of social marketing, along with sort of advertising that captures leads through pay-per-click, solo ads, article marketing, blogging etc, you should be able to capture a decent amount of leads with as little as $50 to $100 a month! You should also strongly consider a Funded Proposal, a method of marketing that creates income for you up-front, while producing all the leads you need. 2. Continue Reading

What’s up with Network Marketing? Recently, I’ve been giving a lot thought to the problems I’m hearing about the difficulties related to network marketing. Now, truthfully, I’m a network marketing freak. I love the concept, I love the compensation of most of the programs and I especially love the residual income that can be derived from a successful business. And that brings me to my point: how is network marketing to be successful in the 21st century? More than ever with companies laying off workers, the cost of living skyrocketing, gas going crazy, healthcare costs in the stratosphere we’re seeing a greater need than ever for folks to create new avenues of income and network marketing is in a prime position to reign supreme. But, battling things like the web, the internet, videos, email, fatigue, stress, etc. all creating noise and fighting for the attention of possible leads and downlines, how does a person break through to reach qualified, interested leads? Having been involved in network marketing in one form or another for over twenty years I’ve been able to watch the evolution of the marketing methods used in the business and I’ve come to this conclusion: there’s been NO Continue Reading

We all know the internet has revolutionized the way Network Marketers do business. Not only can you avoid the shame and embarrassment of pestering family and friends when you market online, you can save yourself time, as well. But if you’re marketing your Network Marketing business online–or thinking about it–be sure to avoid these traps that will keep you from achieving the level of success you desire. Trap 1: Wasting Time on the Internet Surfing the internet rather than using it for a purpose can be a temptation every time you sit down at your computer . It’s important to be disciplined about what you are going to do when you get on the internet. If you spend time looking at every story and article, clicking on all the ads, and never actually marketing your Network Marketing business, you’re not going to get very far. Solution: Set limits for yourself. Give yourself a set amount of time–10 or 15 minutes, perhaps–to do whatever you want. Check the weather, read the latest gossip about Brangelina, and get to work when your time limit is up. Trap 2: Checking Your E-mail Excessively You want to be accessible to your downline and your prospects, so you check your e-mail regularly. Continue Reading

Why is it that some people are very successful with their Network Marketing Home Business while others find it difficult to generate even small sums of money with their business? This is a question that is often asked and could be discussed for hours but the fact is that it is dependent on consistency and using the ‘one percent’ rule. This is a phrase used in sports by athletes that go the extra mile beating pain to gain that added advantage. If this factor were used in your network marketing business at a consistent rate, you will see amazing results. Consistency In A Network Marketing Home Business When you first start out in network marketing you are full of excitement and drive and promise yourself you will work hard and get serious. Then issues arise as the excitement starts to deplete and doubt creeps in and you feel “wait-this isn’t as easy as I was lead to believe!” At this point you need to remind yourself–this is a serious business and if you are not willing to put in the time and effort, you will not succeed. It is that simple. Anything worth achieving takes effort. There really is no Continue Reading

There are hundreds of different network marketing companies out there and it’s hard to find the right one. You can see an online directory of most companies on a website called npros with detailed information. It can be overwhelming if you’re trying to choose the right network marketing company. When you go to the web sites almost all of them have elaborate flash videos for you to watch and nice videos telling you about the products, the opportunity, etc. All of the network marketing companies and their web sites you visit will all have the same type of lay out when you get right down to it. First, they’ll talk about the origin of the company and usually give some exciting story about how the company was founded which will be heart touching in some way or another. Then they’ll talk about their wonderful product and how it’s going to revolutionize the industry and how it’s your duty to tell EVERYBODY about it. Then they’ll start talking about their compensation plans which are so difficult to understand you’ll need a mathematician or an accountant to figure it out. In this article I’m going to help you while researching network marketing companies Continue Reading
